Whenever an issue arises, we shall confront it without delay. Our commitment is not to the divisions of left or right, liberal or conservative, nor to any ideology or system. Our allegiance is to justice and compassion — to ensure that
the poor are fed, injustice is opposed, and the weak are protected.
Wherever these duties are neglected, change is not optional; it is imperative.
And that change does not begin with governments or powers, but with us — with the awakening of conscience, the courage to love and act, and the transformation of each individual heart.
