Weekly Prayer #34

Last week I witnessed a miracle. After a conversation with a lady, I sensed that she was still holding unforgiveness. So I asked her to pray and ask God to help her forgive, regardless of her feelings. In the following days, God’s justice came. She later told me that she had not even been aware of her unforgiveness before. Truly, forgiveness brings healing.

This is the 34th weekly prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your forgiveness. Thank You for Your sacrifice when we were still sinners. Thank You for Your love and kindness—slow to anger and rich in mercy toward us.

Dear Father, I ask for forgiveness in this city, that people would be willing to forgive. Please remind those who are unaware of unforgiveness in their hearts. Soften their hearts and help them make the decision to forgive. Let them know that You are willing to help them overcome bitterness. Give them faith to believe that when they ask, You will answer and help them.

But Lord, I ask for sincere hearts—not forgiveness for the sake of gaining approval from people, not reconciliation only on the surface, not maintaining relationships merely to satisfy personal desires.

Lastly, Lord, I pray that You would show this city that You reign over a kingdom that commands forgiveness and love, and that obedience to Your commands unlocks abundant blessings.
