Weekly Prayer #39

Praying into details is a theme the Lord keeps teaching me. I am deeply grateful that during my conversations with a sister last weekend, whenever something surfaced, we were reminded to pray immediately and to place it fully into the Lord’s hands.

This is the 39th weekly prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for continually reminding me to pray. Thank You for answering my prayers. I ask that You would also keep reminding Your children in this city to pray—to seek You attentively and ask into details with a sincere curiosity for truth, and with faithful hearts willing to put truth into practice. Teach us never to treat prayer as a ritual, but to come before You always with sincerity, humility, and honesty.

Dear Lord, I also ask You to expose every wrong ritual and evil practice, all distorted teachings and false witnesses—especially those disguised under good appearances. Shatter them by the light of Your Truth, according to Your standards alone, not anyone else’s. Please bring an end to every influence of warlock practices, and to all forms of manipulation and information-gathering that masquerade as care. Please clean this place from the inside out.

May You bless this city and keep it. May You make Your face shine upon it and be gracious to it.

May Berlin become a city of light, where Truth is made unmistakably clear—highlighted with a bold exclamation mark!
